A graduate of the University of Toledo, Boston College, and Northeastern University, Dr. DiSabato (formerly Schaub) specializes in 19th century American literature and American nature writing. As part of her PhD comprehensive exams, she also researched 20th century British and American women writers as well as writings by English Medieval mystics. Her PhD dissertation focused on spirituality of place in 19th and 20th century American nature writing.
